Included With Your Registration Hospitality Suite Our hospitality hours on Wednesday and Thursday provide great opportunities for meeting and greeting fellow members and guests. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
Evening Functions
Thursday join us for our time-honored tradition of starting off the conference with good friends, good conversation, and plenty of food (you won’t need dinner). At the Welcome Reception you’ll reconnect with old friends and maybe make new ones! The Friday evening Reception and Dinner is sure to be a fun way to spend the final night in San Diego. At the Friday evening Reception and Dinner, we will honor Jim Ruetz of AIS as NFDA's Fastener Professional of the Year for 2018.
Optional Activities/Purchases: Not Included With Your Registration One of San Diego's finest golf clubs, Steele Canyon is a 27-hole championship course designed by Gary Player, one of the sport’s greatest golfers. He designed the course with great respect and appreciation for the natural beauty of the terrain, from the dramatic elevation changes of the Canyon nine to the subtle nuances of the Vineyard nine. As a recipient of Golf Digest's prestigious 4-½ Star Award, Steele Canyon Golf Club has been nationally recognized as one of Southern California's best publicly accessible golf courses. The $195 registration fee includes round-trip transportation for an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start, practice range balls, golf cart with GPS, and a voucher to use in the pro shop or snack bar. The last day to register for golf is Monday, February 11.
San Diego Brew Hop ($140) On this three-hour brewery tour you’ll experience a taste of San Diego’s local craft beers. A VIP tour host will accompany you (taking private transportation) and provide a bit of brew know-how along with making sure you have plenty of beers to sample. The tour starts at Coronado Brewing Company (a local brewing legacy since 1996). Then you’ll head to Stone Brewing Company for more tastings along with a street taco buffet. The $140 registration fee includes luxury private transportation, brewery tours, all beer tastings, guided tastings, lunch and gratuities.
Spouse/Guest Lunch on Coronado Island ($50) You’ll start in the hospitality suite for a meet-and-greet and then take a short walk to board the ferry for a 15-minute ride to Coronado Island. At the ferry landing, you’ll have lunch at the popular waterfront restaurant, Peohe’s. The ferry runs every 30 minutes, so you have the option of returning directly to the hotel after lunch or leisurely exploring the village of Coronado. |
